New 2014 Jeep Wrangler Colors

There has been some unconfirmed speculation that Chrysler will offer five new colors for the 2014 Jeep Wrangler. They are Copperhead Pearl (PLB), Amp’d (PYC), Granite Crystal (PAU), Anvil (PDS), and Hydro Blue (PBJ). Flame Red and Dune will also make the 2014 roster, while the 2013 Jeep Wrangler colors True Blue, Rugged Brown, Rock Lobster, Command, and Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl will be dropped.

Personally, I’m excited for Granite Crystal, and Anvil. The Anvil paint color was used first on the 2013 10th anniversary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and will finally be available for all models in 2014. I am disappointed that Jeep didn’t bring back the 2013 Commando paint job for the Wrangler – it’s been one of my favorites since it was the first color scheme ever used on a Jeep.

  1. I am waiting to see the new amber color. I have the Grecko Green and am hopeful that this color will be cool enough for me to trade up.

  2. I have to wait to see the 2014 version of ‘plum crazy purple’ that’s coming out later. But copperhead might look good. The worry is Chrysler will be chintzy as usual & the colors will be too light in color, making them look gaudy. If either color is darker than expected, I’m interested. Hey Jeep, I’m only buying because I can finally get leather seats (or even vinyl would do) on an ‘S’- anything but cloth seats that don’t stand a chance against water, mud, sweat, etc…Every time I’ve looked at a Wrangler for the past few years, I’ve thought ‘what’s up with the cloth seats?!’ My old Wranglers always had vinyl seats, which were great.
To other manufacturers- Why in the heck aren’t you building your own version of a Wrangler. Jeep isn’t updating the technology even 20 years later. Build a tough, convertible 2 door SUV with a lower center of gravity & that is more aerodynamic than the 70′sish Wrangler and you’ll have a best seller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh I forgot, you’re all in this together. Plotting & scheming against consumers so you can continue to pay union salaries for life to your workers. Why don’t you give us the dates the labor unions bought out your CEO’s to surrender your companies to the labor union workers?! The Jeep Wrangler could have been an awesome vehicle. Jeep show cars cant ever be made because of labor union salaries…’s not Jeep, it’s the labor unions & the corrupt executives that were bought out. Labor unions are unconstitutional in a free democracy- especially gov labor unions.
